When I was just a young cockroach after the nuclear fallout,
and the planet was in the middle of collapsing,
I looked around for barren ice cream cones and half empty bags of chips
cuz even just the crumbs would be enough.
I just needed a little something for my cockroach tummy.
And as I wandered the desolate landscape in search for something that could nourish me,
I discovered a light off in the distance and it called to me.
It was the first thing of its kind I had seen in such a long time.
And so I pursued the light, and the distance was my battleground.
One foot, next foot, next foot, one foot in front of the other.
